Library

The College has a library with a collection of approximately more than 17,000 books besides magazines and journals for the use of students, faculty members and for the staff which is increasing its stock every session, located on the ground floor of the main building. Old students of the college doing postgraduate courses elsewhere are allowed to use the library only for reference purposes with special permission from the Principal as well as from Librarian. Library web portal has been developed for the enrichment of the students as well as the faculty members of the college by providing web based information and knowledge. This web portal is very easy to access and extremely student/ user friendly and having its ten different modules can be accessed round the clock by the students who come from remote areas. Reference section of the library contains primary sources of information that is original resources, such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, thesauri, atlases, and reference handbooks. The reference shelves are separate from the other shelves. UGC-NRC (Network Resource Centre) continued functioning with three computers. The Centre aims at providing support to the faculty in academic and research activity and support to the users’ community.
